What do you plan to get out of this internship?
To quote an old saying, knowledge is power. Being a HEAL intern allows me to share scientifically verified information on the subjects of exercise, nutrition, and body image with my friends and peers so that they have the power to make good decisions in regard to their own well-being. Doing that kind of work leaves me feeling like I am doing something meaningful. The experiences that I have had and the people that I have met through this internship have taught me lessons that I could never learn while sitting in lecture hall.
What are your future goals?
I'm currently wrapping up a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. I considered going directly to grad school after I'm done being an undergraduate, but recently decided to take some time off from school for travel. After seeing a bit of the world, I hope to earn a Ph.D and work in the field of clinical psychology. And I always plan on letting the good times roll.
